3 Books that Changed my Life

3 Books that Changed my Life

With the official launch of my own book, Journeys under The Spirit Tree earlier this week, I wanted to share with you my 3 of my all-time favourite spiritual books that helped change my perspective, and my life.

It’s no secret that I LOVE books!! Those of you who have ever attended one of my workshops will know I’m always recommending books that I know will be super-useful. To me, there’s something so wonderful about finding a quiet corner, snuggling up under a blanket and allowing my mind to roam the pages of someone else’s mind, their thoughts, theories and revelations. There’s something timeless about a book that inspires you each time you read it. It’s like watching a film over again, each time you see something new, or have a deeper realisation about something you thought you knew. You find another piece of yourself and with that comes clarity and understanding.

So without further ado, here are my top 3 spiritual books:

#3 – The Way of Wyrd by Brian Bates

I read this book back in 2007 and it has got to be in my top 3 books ever, EVER, not just top 3 spiritual books. I literally LOVE this book because it’s ancient wisdom presented as a story so for those readers who have difficulty seeing the Truth in this book, they can easily just see it as a wonderful work of fiction. Some of us know better ;-)

Brian Bates introduces us to Wat Brand, a Christian scribe who meets Wulf, an Anglo-Saxon sorcerer and mystic. The English countryside is shown in a whole new light and I was left looking at familiar plants, trees, flowers and animals in a totally new way!

The book also explains the whole concept of the Wyrd, the web that connects everything, everyone, every event, and so on. Reading this book will not only entertain you but expand your view immensely!

#2 – The Mystery of the White Lions by Linda Tucker

Totally a game-changer for me when I first read this in 2013. Linda recounts her amazing experiences of meeting a Lion Shaman in South Africa, how she nearly got eaten by a lion, and how that whole experience sparked an eye-opening and old-belief-shattering journey up along the African continent following the Nilotic Meridian, a line of longitude known from ancient times to be a line of immense power.

Her book completely opened my eyes to seeing the deep knowledge held by those who have come before us, I gained a deep and profound respect of our Ancestors, and I saw connections weaving through everything, including some experiences I’d had in some of my own meditations, which led to the Aquarius Ascension and Lion Heart Healing. Reading this book was major confirmation of the knowledge I had received myself from Spirit and I am so grateful to have come across this book.

#1 – Reality Unveiled by Ziad Masri

A science book that I love – SHOCKING for me considering I am a self-professed non-sciencey type! This book took me longer to read than I thought it would because of the sheer amount of mind-blowing and life-changing information it presented. I kept having to stop reading and put it down to digest what I had just read in each chapter, adjust my thoughts and beliefs, and then pick the book up again, continue reading, have my mind blown all over again, then rest and repeat!!

In this book, Masri sets out proper scientific evidence as to WHY all things are One, thoughts become things, the knowledge of the Ancients and the pyramids, how thoughts affect water, how nothing is solid or real… I know, right? Not exactly a mainstream science book like you’d find in a school, but real science nonetheless, and all backed up with hard evidence.

The book was written in a very easy to understand manner so you don’t have to be a science geek to follow it, and by the end, I felt like I totally KNOW the Universe. So I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who wants to grow their perspective and expand their spiritual horizons.

I’d love to hear about what books have changed your life and why! Get in touch and let me know which books you love <3

Speak soon,

Love Leonie xx
